The service has been immense, the breakfast is spot on. I love the variety of breakfast options there were. This place is not soo far from the bay, a nice walk with nice views to keep you occupied. I will definitely book here again in the near future. Very well kept place, with great facilities. Parking is a big bonus. The very kind lady even allowed us to check in early, which we highly appreciate. Thank you for your great service and hospitality

Tolle, ruhige Lage mit fantastischer Aussicht, sauberen und modern eingerichteten Zimmern (alle mit Meerblick) und leckerem Frühstück. Sarah und Roy sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.   Auch im Esszimmer hat man den direkten Blick auf die kleine Bucht, wo man über einen kleinen Pfad schnell hinunter gelangt. Dort ist Schwimmen möglich, liegt allerdings direkt an der Straße und es gibt keinen Strand (aber in der nahen Umgebung gibt es sehr viele Möglichkeiten zum Sonnen- und im Meer baden). Ein Pub liegt ebenfalls direkt an der Bucht, man kann draußen sitzen und etwas trinken und essen. Für einen Tisch im Restaurant muss man ggf vorher reservieren (es gibt auch wohl nicht an allen Tagen Speisen). Zum kleinen Hafen muss man schon einen kleinen Fußmarsch bestreiten, aber der Ausblick entschädigt jede Mühe. Wir waren 9 Tage äußerst zufrieden und können das Gästehaus, sowie Mevagissey und Cornwall sehr empfehlen. Uns hat diese Seite auch für das Wohnen besser gefallen, als die andere Küstenseite, da es dort wesentlich voller und unruhiger war, aber das ist natürlich subjektives Empfinden.

The accommodation fully deserves its 5* rating. The guest house is situated in a beautiful location in Portmellon overlooking the lovely Cove. The accommodation has been finished to a very high standard & is a pleasure to  rest in. Our room overlooks the beautiful garden & Cove below. Sarah & Roy, our hosts provided us with everything we needed to make our holiday special. I believe that we have been very fortunate to find a vacancy at Portmellon Cove Guest House. Excellent accommodation. We stayed in the Eden room and it was lovely, really spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Excellent breakfasts, I think we had every item on the menu over our trip. Full ‘Cornish’, Kippers, smoked salmon and even continental were all excellent. Stunning views over the cove, private outside space for a cup of tea in the morning and a beer on the evening. Owners are also incredibly lovely. Honestly just stay here you will not regret it.Ben
